I recently joined the mailing list to get an idea of how active this group is. Perhaps somebody can provide an approximate number of expected participants for this meeting? If I go (I am thinking about it...), I would have to take a 1/2 day off from work and drive from Connecticut. I am looking for an active group that provides an environment to accelerate my learning with Linux to hopefully reach a point of learning where it could be enjoyable to contribute back to some open source project or another.
