Sounds like a great meeting, especially for "newbies".

Unfortunately I have a dinner theater engagement at that time, so have fun!

We've got a meeting tomorrow! I'm planning on giving a short talk on the history of linux, how we got here, where are we going, why it matters and delve into some unix history and philosophy.. i.e. "everything is (mosly) a file.. no really.."

I fully expect all the usual suspects will also have interesting tidbits to add, corrections to make and generally it should be an interesting talk to help people new to the FOSS world and in particular the linux world why we love linux and why we think it's great.

As usual we'll head off for dinner afterwards and keep the conversation going!

I hope to see you there!
Tim.
