Maybe, or maybe the device at the other end of the cable is fried. Have you tried a different switch port, new cable, etc? What shows up when you do: /sbin/ifconfig eth0 /sbin/ethtool eth0 /sbin/mii-tool eth0
I have a second SPARC machine. It's ethernet was working last time it was powered. Must I swap?
Mabye, but I'd try some of the above diagnostics first.
