Yeah, that's what I figured I'd try next. I was just too lazy last night.
Good RAM test tool just in case you need it : http://www.memtest86.com/ Its free. You boot into it from a floppy and set up a few parameters. Then let it go for as long as you like. minutes, hours, days. If you have some bad RAM it'll find it. Memtest86 is thorough, stand alone memory test for x86 architecture computers. BIOS based memory tests are only a quick check and often miss many of the failures that are detected by Memtest86. Memtest86 is released under the terms of the Gnu Public License (GPL).
