Andrew, You don't say which Linux Distro you're using. The newer Ubuntu ones have much improved auto-configuration of the Xserver. First off, I'd make sure you have the latest updates applied. Second, try moving the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file to another name and then rebooting. Does your display work then? Greg already replied with some useful help which you can also try, but please give us more info on your Linux Distro so we can offer more targeted help. Cheers, John P.S.
