I mentioned a couple podcasts last night.

First was the Amp Hour podcast, specifically an episode where they interviewed someone who reverse engineers ICs for the automotive industry:

The second was Stay Tuned With Preet.  Preet Bharara doesn't avoid politics, but that's not what the podcast is about.  He interviews other lawyers so you can hear what a courtroom is like from the perspective of a prosecutor or a defense attorney or a defendant, and he asks them about their more memorable cases.
