I believe you can grab a newer kernel although it would prob be an FC3 (Fedora Core 3) kernel. I personally haven't used Fedora much so I'm not sure. Have you tried googling that name? I've never even heard of that nic.
From the quick google search I did it sounds like it's a Microsoft card. Did see a few topics about linux drivers, but all dead ends at a short glance.

The kernel I have installed is 2.4 --- I'm currently downloading version 3 off the site & expect everything to be ready to burn in about, oh 3 hours or so. We'll see if it works. Or ... Is there any way to install a new kernel in Fedora 1? Forgive me if I'm not saying that right but that's what I think is possible?

I would imagine that a newer release of Linux might have it. I don't even remember if Fedora 1 was in the 2.6 kernel stream...

OK here we go - I'm a Linux newbie &'ve used Mandrake in the past occasionally but that's about it. I've installed Fedora 1 on an old computer at work but it has an MN-130 network card & the system isn't recognizing that it's there. According to a couple articles I've
checked I need to edit the Tulip driver (tulip_core.c) & add a line of
code at line 201. I did this and then checked the dependencies & typed
modules_install & restarted the system & STILL the network card didn't
show up. What am I doing wrong? Does anyone have any advice to get me out of this frustration? I'm very close to swapping out the card for another one that's more likely to work but I'd like to avoid that if possible ... Can anybody help?
