OK here we go - I'm a Linux newbie &'ve used Mandrake in the past occasionally but that's about it. I've installed Fedora 1 on an old computer at work but it has an MN-130 network card & the system isn't recognizing that it's there. According to a couple articles I've checked I need to edit the Tulip driver (tulip_core.c) & add a line of code at line 201. I did this and then checked the dependencies & typed modules_install & restarted the system & STILL the network card didn't show up. What am I doing wrong? Does anyone have any advice to get me out of this frustration? I'm very close to swapping out the card for another one that's more likely to work but I'd like to avoid that if possible ...
