      Yep, it's pretty straightforward:

$ cat ~/.kermrc
set line /dev/tty.USA19QW3b1P1.1
set flow none
set speed 9600
set carrier-watch off

I found that the device name would change based on which USB port the
dongle was plugged into.  fyi.

I have a pretty straightforward .kermrc file at home that I can mail
out later this evening.  It's mainly just "set line", "set speed",
"set device", as I recall.
