Hi Everybody,
My wife is cleaning stuff out and she wants me do something with a scanner that I specifically bought for it's Linux compatability.  It's an Epson 1200U: http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?oid=14568

It works out of the box with my Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop via libusb, so I don't know if it will work with BSDs or other F/OSS operating systems, but I think it would.  There are drivers for Windows and OS X on Epson's website, but I don't know if it works for those, I bought it so that it worked with Linux for a reason...

It's not new, but I feel that it's worth it for Linux compatibility.  It used to be white, but after years of oxidation and the plastic getting older, it's now yellowed.  I would refund the money if it broke in the first year.
