Our client in
northern MA has 2 openings for Linux Application Engineers. These are 4 +
mths contracts.
The work includes
some design, full implementation of code, code reviews, integration with
hardware and other software, writing test plans, and executing test
plan.
Linux,
multithreaded, multiprocessor, strong C/C++ (emphasis on C++), strong debugging,
good communication skills, and team player.
Most of our Linux
applications are user space processes that are in C++, use a lot of interprocess
communications both on the same processor and on other processors in the
system. The IPC is CORBA and Sockets.
We are using Wind
River 2.0 release which has Linux 2.6.21.
Processors are Freescale 8548.
Source control is Perforce.
Would be required to design, document
designs, and follow company standard practices and
processes.
