Hi all,
I have a problem accessing the Internet. On precisely every other attempt, I get failures.
For example, every other unique URL I click in Netscape gives me the following error:
A network error occurred while Netscape was receiving data. (Network error: connection reset by peer) Try connecting again.
This doesn't look like a DNS issue - it sounds like the tcp stream that Netscape opened to suck down a file got closed abrubtly. Try starting up a running ping to a site while you're browsing it to see if there's any packet loss. -- Frank Sweetser rasmusin at wpi.edu, fs at suave.net | $ x 15 Full-time WPI Network Tech, Part time Linux/Perl guy | I have plenty of common sense, I just choose to ignore it. --- Calvin
