It depends on that you mean by "Linux" partner.

Are you talking about GNU/Linux with the Linux 1.x kernel?  Non-SMP, weak file systems?  Poor (soft) real-time? 32-bit only?

Are you searching for the Linux that you have to type in every single hardware element of your graphics card?   That you need to connect your CD-ROM drive to your audio card?

Are you prefer "Deb" or "RPM"?  Perhaps you would like SuSE or Debian.   You can just download them and try them all out.

Just trying to gauge where you are coming from.
