Last night it was brought to my attention that Jitsi has decided to become more "zoom" like.
That sucks. Moreover, and I've noticed this as well, their free instance's performance is all over the place.. some meetings the performance is spot on, other meetings, like last night, it was not so great.
There should be zero barriers to people joining the meeting.
To this end, I'm going to explore what it's going to take to stand up my own Jitsi instance. Likely hosted in some cloud provider with possibly a nice DNS entry.
