For the holidays I setup my raspberry pi to act as an automatic christmas tree waterier.
Thus I've become quite acquainted with the GPIO (General Purpose I/O) pins on the raspberry pi.

I could definitely give a talk that would be a primer on controlling TTL devices using a raspberry pi and python.
