I don't think this will change much.  nVidia doens't have any
incentive to open up their user-space side of things.  This is really
just the low level kernel drivers they're opening up, not the upper
parts of the stack.

The only way things will open up is when large customers require
interoperability sot hey can move workloads between systems easily.
Until then... not too likely.
