Somebody just sent a 2 Megabyte message to this mailing list, I think. I don't even know who sent it, because I got tired of watching it download
I did it. Got a problem? Take it up with me and not the list, and please keep your profanity to yourself.
Well, you sent this message to the list, so I guess you want to continue the discussion on the list. As I said, I did not know you did it. I am surprised to say the least.
Let's leave my mother out of this, shall we?
OK.
The mailing list software sent my e-mail to the WLUG mailing list admin due to its size. I believe the limit is set to 20 Kbytes.
A very reasonable limit.
The WLUG mailing list admin obviously approved it for posting and sent it on its way. I am not the WLUG mailing list admin (I suspect it is either Chuck or Frank).
Even more surprised.
You're quite welcome! I'm happy to keep people informed about important events in the Linux world, such as the Enterprise Linux Forum being held in Boston.
That seems well under 20K.
Ah, but you'd have known that if you hadn't deleted a partially downloaded e-mail message.
Actually I did know, because Karl Hiramoto sent a message that quoted everything needful to know.
Now, to the more polite members of WLUG, my apologies if the aforementioned e-mail has caused you some grief. I'll endeavor to use more care in the future.
I'm going to sleep now. -- Keith
